Project: Mock TV Ad for Prestige Automaker

Sometimes you just gotta create the type of projects you want to be hired for. I’ve always loved this type of visual storytelling — where the simplest, most relatable visuals are brought together with the perfect musical score to evoke an emotional response.

This spot, created for fictional automaker Saturnia, does just that. And totally on the cheap! I curated free stock videos of driver POVs in a variety of inspiring locales — lush countrysides, busy freeways and urban streets, snowy backroads and scenic coastalways — and synced them with a carefully edited bit of Chopin to not only express what cars and travel mean to us, but connect that with the brand in an unexpected way.

But the real coup may be in the voiceover, which was generated using AI (also for free). I recorded my voice with the timing and inflection I wanted and an online tool converted it to the warm, comforting middle-aged male voice you hear in the spot.

This piece is representative of my touch as a visual storyteller as well as my resourcefulness in curating raw materials and crafting them into effective communication. Lexus… Mercedes… if you’re looking, I’m your girl!
