Designed and developed this website for Flaherty Media’s flagship publication Private University Products and News (PUPN) to replace an outdated site. To better appeal to the magazine’s core audience of university professors and administrators, we devised a clean, timeless look using a combination of thick, chunky fonts and slender typefaces, using a minimal palette and lots of white space.
Built in WordPress using my own custom theme, the site prominently presents each issue’s print content in a web-based format while effectively organizing the publication’s vast archive of past issues.
To facilitate and enhance the company’s revenue model, we also developed a bespoke ad management system that makes it easy for in-house staff to insert targeted ads into content using a cross-category framework.
